THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL, INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM, CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND, TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY and JURASSIC PARK – Muren has defined the role of visual effects supervisor and attained a near-mythic status among visual effects aficionados. He has nine Academy Awards, is a recipient of the VES Lifetime Achievement Award and was the first visual effects artist to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Naomi Goldman is recognized as a strategic, creative communications practitioner who steers campaigns that enhance and safeguard reputations, engage communities, build brand equity and marketshare and advance business and policy agendas. As Principal of Los Angeles-based NLG Communications, she leads multimedia communications, issues/crisis management and public affairs campaigns on behalf of private and public sector clients in California, nationally and wordwide.
Goldman has handled communications for the Visual Effects Society since 2013, and oversees media, social media and broad based communications to support its representation of film/TV/games/animation/commercial VFX talent, the work of its Sections worldwide and its red-carpet Hollywood awards show. She is a regular contributing writer to the VES’ award-winning print and digital magazine, VFX Voice and hosts the Society’s dynamic webcast series, VFX Pros: Home Edition and Ask Me Anything: VFX Pros Tell All, an initiative developed in partnership with Autodesk.
