David Ayeni
Principal — Vistergy
Short Summary
RESET convenes the people building real-time workflows across industries that rarely compare notes. I bring the regulated-infrastructure perspective, where real-time only matters if it is trustworthy, and I want to learn from media, gaming and visualisation practitioners who solved latency and scale years before infrastructure did. As a RESET Champion I am co-leading the London welcome remarks with Greg Demchak, and I want the conversations that start there to become working collaborations.
Full Statement
Critical infrastructure is becoming a real-time discipline. The plants, grids and data centres being built now will be operated through live models, continuous data and AI agents, yet the sector that most needs real-time capability is the least able to adopt it, because every answer must survive an audit. That is the conversation I want to bring to RESET London 26. Vistergy builds governed intelligence for nuclear, energy and data centre infrastructure: AI grounded in published standards, evidence attached to every answer, open-source foundations underneath. We have learned that trust is an engineering discipline, not a claim. I hope to contribute that perspective, compare it honestly with how the media, gaming and visualisation communities earned real-time at scale, and help turn the welcome remarks I am co-leading with Greg Demchak into collaborations that outlast the event.. RESET is where those worlds actually meet.
Edward White
Technical Director — Infrastructure Visualization & Real-Time Simulation — Independent
Short Summary
Mostly to find out whether the problem I’ve been working on looks the same from other directions. Games, VFX and virtual production have solved fidelity and pipeline problems that infrastructure work now meets under regulatory constraint, where the image has to be defensible rather than merely convincing. I’d contribute that regulated environment perspective, and hope to leave with a clearer read on where open standards are actually heading.
Long Statement
Accuracy in visual simulation has always been invisible by design — the precondition for the work, never its subject. The output gets judged as a picture, while the machinery underneath stays undocumented and firm-specific.
That was tolerable while images were expensive to make. Generation has made them nearly free.
The apparatus that does exist was built for photography. France’s CNDP appoints independent experts to audit photomontages — nodal-point rotation, 50 mm equivalence, registration to three arc-minutes. The UK’s equivalent guidance places AR and VR beyond its scope and is under review.
Nothing comparable governs a generated, captured or real-time image. Provenance standards tell you what made a file; they don’t tell you whether it faithfully represents a real place seen from a real viewpoint. That question is arriving in every industry at RESET. It arrived in infrastructure permitting first, and I spent twenty years building the answer inside one firm. I’d like to compare notes.
Elena Garces
Senior Research Scientist — Adobe
Short Summary
My diverse experience as an academic, researcher in a big tech company, and startup co-founder gives me a broad perspective on the challenges and opportunities across research, industry, and entrepreneurship. I hope to exchange perspectives, learn from others, and contribute insights on how to bridge these worlds and turn research into real-world impact
Full Statement
RESET London 26 matters to me because it brings together perspectives from research, industry, and entrepreneurship at a time when the boundaries between them are rapidly changing. Having worked across academia, a startup, technology transfer, and big-tech research, I have experienced first-hand both the potential of frontier technologies and the challenges of turning research breakthroughs into reliable, production-ready solutions.
I hope to contribute a practical perspective on how we can better connect researchers, engineers, product teams, and decision-makers—particularly around AI and emerging technologies. I’m especially interested in discussing how we can move from “what is technically possible” to “what can actually be deployed and create impact”, and how large organizations can engage more effectively with innovation emerging from smaller teams and research communities.
Elena Shilova
Research Engineer — Autodesk
Short Summary
I’m interested in how AI is moving from isolated tools and experiments into real AEC workflows, particularly where geometry, structured building data, simulation and agentic systems intersect. I’d value the opportunity to exchange perspectives with others working across research, software and practice, and to contribute experience from both computational design and generative AI for AEC
Full Statement
My work sits between computational design, AEC research and generative AI. I currently work on geometry-aware models, multimodal post-training, evaluation and agentic workflows for building design, following several years of applied computational research in architectural practice.
RESET is particularly relevant to me because it focuses on what happens after the prototype: how AI, simulation, structured data and computational workflows become useful, trustworthy and scalable within real organisations. I would be keen to contribute a perspective grounded in both research and delivery, especially around spatial reasoning, geometry, BIM/IFC, model evaluation and the integration of AI into multidisciplinary AECO workflows.

Short summary
I want to bring a practical adoption lens—how we move from pilots to repeatable operating models—and frame sustainability and resilience as core drivers of integration.
Full statement
RESET LA 26 matters to me because we’re at a turning point: real-time systems and AI are accelerating change faster than most practices can absorb it. I’ve spent my career in the gap between design ambition and delivery reality, building ways for teams to protect intent, reduce friction, and make performance measurable under real constraints.
What I hope to contribute is a practical lens on adoption. Tools are not the bottleneck. Coherence is. I want to help the group define operating models that move from pilots to repeatable practice, and that stay flexible as new technology arrives. I also want to bring sustainability and resilience into that same frame, not as a separate topic, but as the forcing function that makes integration non-optional and elevates the value of consistent, traceable outcomes.

Short Summary
What drew me to RESET was how closely the questions being explored align with the work I am doing around adoption and behavior change. Organizations increasingly have access to technologies that are capable of producing results, yet implementation often stalls because the human and organizational systems surrounding the technology have not changed with it. I would value the opportunity to contribute a neuroscience and behavioral psychology perspective to those conversations, while learning from leaders who are confronting these challenges from technology, production, operational and business perspectives. I am particularly interested in the gap between successful experimentation and sustained adoption at scale.
Full StatementM
My work sits at the intersection of strategy, technology and human behavior. Throughout my career, I have seen organizations invest in strong ideas and capable technologies that generate initial engagement but never translate into sustained adoption.
I developed The Neuroscience of Adoption to explore that gap, combining principles from neuroscience and behavioral psychology with practical experience implementing technology and leading change.
At RESET, I hope to contribute that human lens alongside participants approaching these challenges from technical, production and organizational perspectives. I am especially interested in the question of what happens after we know a technology works: what creates trust, reduces resistance and helps new ways of working become actual operating practice?

Short Summary
My interest in the UX potential of real-time technologies across immersive computing, simulation, design and engineering comes directly from my studio practice, where we continuously try to improve our methods and tools. This has increasingly led me to explore what comes after the conventional engineering GUI: more direct, embodied real-time interfaces connecting simulation, design, sensing and physical production. At RESET, I hope to contribute this design and UX perspective while exchanging with people working on simulation, digital twins, robotics and engineering platforms. I am particularly interested in the technical and adoption challenges involved in turning these emerging interfaces into practical, intuitive real-world workflows.
Full Statement
My interest in the UX potential of real-time technologies across immersive computing, simulation, design and engineering comes directly from my studio practice, where we continuously try to optimize our methods and tools. This has increasingly led us to question the conventional engineering GUI and explore more direct, embodied real-time interfaces connecting simulation, design, and physical production. David Schwartz at RIT (https://www.rit.edu/directory/disvks-david-schwartz), with whom I have been discussing these ideas, recommended I connect with the RealTime Community.
I am currently developing two concrete Virtual Reality experiments in this direction: one combining immersive CAD design with real-time physical simulation, and another connecting VR CAD design and sensing with robotic-arm (cobot) real-time fabrication.
At RESET, I would like to contribute this design perspective while learning from people working on the technical and adoption challenges required to turn these emerging interfaces into real-world engineering tools.
