Colin Brady – Chief Creative Officer & Chief Technology Officer – AMGI Studios
Colin Brady is the Chief Creative Officer at AMGI Studios. As a director, creative producer and animation supervisor, Colin has worked at Pixar, Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), Imagi Studios, Rhythm and Hues, Pixomondo and Light Chaser, and directed animation for Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Ang Lee, John Lasseter and Martin Scorsese. He is credited in films such as “Everyone’s Hero” (2006), “Astro Boy” (2009), “TMNT” (2007), and “Toy Story 2” (1999). He supervised scenes for “A Bug’s Life” (1998), “Hugo” (2011), “Green Lantern” (2011) and “Men in Black 2” (2002). Whether he’s directing Pixar characters or furthering performance capture techniques, Colin’s passion is fine-crafting narrative, dialogue, humor and nonverbal acting — creating great stories through the art of animation.
Junaid Baig – Chief Innovation Officer | Head of Applied Technology – Dimension Studio / DNEG 360
Junaid Baig has a distinguished career in the field of visual effects, with extensive experience in VFX Supervision, Rendering, and the development of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning technologies. His deep understanding of these areas has led him to a leadership position at Dimension, where he currently manages a senior development team as the Head of Applied Technology. In this role, Junaid leads the research and implementation of advanced technologies that are set to transform business and production processes. His team focuses on Advanced Rendering Technologies for Realtime Rendering, Pipeline Development, Infrastructure Scaling Solutions and developing & deploying Machine Learned solutions for the workforce. Furthermore, as the Chief Innovation Officer, Junaid is entrusted with the responsibility of envisioning and shaping the future direction of the company’s technology arm, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of technological advancements and continues to deliver innovative solutions to its clients.
Kim Davidson – CEO – SideFX | Board Chair – Visual Effects Society (VES)
Kim is the President and CEO of SideFX®, a company he co-founded in 1987. He is the recipient of multiple awards, including the Oscar® presented to SideFX for the creation and development of Houdini®, the preeminent visual effects software. As a long-serving member of the Visual Effects Society (VES), he is currently serving his second year as its Board Chair. The VES is an honorary society with over 5000 global members.

Alexis Khouri joined Allegorithmic in 2007 and has been deeply involved in the product design and business strategy for Substance, the industry standard for 3D texturing that won an Academy award and an Emmy award in 2023 and 2024. Following Allegorithmic’s acquisition by Adobe in 2019, Alexis became Vice President of Growth for 3D & Immersive and drove the Substance 3D business above $100m in ARR . He was formerly General Manager at Playsoft (Mobile Game Development) and Senior Consultant at Simon-Kucher & Partners. Alexis graduated from ESSEC Business School and has also a strong technical background in programming and 3D production pipelines.

Jeff Okun – Visual Effects Supervisor | Co-Author The VES Handbook of Virtual Production
JEFFREY A. OKUN (VFX supervisor) has been creating outstanding visual effects for films and television for over 30 years, with another ten years in various industry capacities (sound editing, cinematography, picture editing, production management, writing, producing) dating back to his work with legendary title designer, Oscar winning Saul Bass.
Okun, has been recognized his work on “The Last Samurai,” “Blood Diamond,” “The Day the Earth Stood Still,” Deep Blue Sea, Long Kiss Goodnight, and a plethora of music videos (Michael Jackson, Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac, Sting, Amy Grant, etc.). His television work includes Cosmos (season 3), The End Is Nye (with Bill Nye), The Good Lord Bird, The Drew Carey Show, among others.
As VES Board Chair for 7 years, Okun fostered a global community and focused attention on bringing business and creative education to artists, facilities, and studios. Under Okun’s leadership, the VES was a key player in the creation of a worldwide software anti-pirating alliance with the U.S. Government. Attempted creation of a VFX Guild and a VFX trade organization. Okun has also served as 1st Vice-Chair as well as treasurer.
Okun co-edited the VES Handbook of Visual Effects, an award-winning reference book covering all aspects of creating visual effects, techniques and best practices, as well as the newly released, VES Handbook of Virtual Production – an all-inclusive and exhaustive book on what it is, how to utilize it, and when to use it.
The Hollywood native is a respected member of the Visual Effects Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, the Academy of Television Arts and Science, and the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC).
Luke Paglia – Chief Operations Officer – AMGI Studios
Luke Paglia is the Chief Operating Officer at AMGI Studios who oversees the coordination and execution of all projects. Luke has an extensive background in live-action video production with commercial clients such as Apple and Toyota, and was most recently credited for his work on the music video for the song by Coldplay and BTS, “My Universe.” Luke’s experience with commercial clients ensures that AMGI is delivering world-class animation on schedule every time.
Brian Pohl – Unreal Engine SME & Training Specialist – AMGI Studios
Brian J. Pohl has over 25 years of experience as a visual effects artist, Visualization Supervisor and Technical Program Manager. A veteran of George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch previsualization team and Industrial Light and Magic’s art department, Pohl is credited for creating or supervising previs on over twenty-seven feature films including “Star Wars: Attack of the Clones” (2002), “I,Robot” (2004), and “Star Trek” (2009) . Pohl has also worked over a decade within the software industry working as a Principal User Experience Designer for Autodesk, Inc. and a Technical Program Manager running the Unreal Fellowship at Epic Games. Recently Pohl joined AMGI Studios as an Unreal Engine subject matter expert to provide training and technical guidance to the company’s workforce as their Technical Program Manager.
Adam Smith – Director of Experience Technology – The Mill
Adam Smith is an experienced technologist and leader with over 20 years of experience creating memorable digital products and activations. Adam’s career is primarily rooted on the advertising side of Interactive Development and has since evolved into the broader spectrum of modern Creative Technology.
At The Mill, Adam leads the global Experience Technology practice. His team of technologists works with the broader Experience team to collaborate with The Mill’s global team of artists to create real time interactive installations, immersive VR experiences, and bespoke tools and applications for branded films.
Adipat Virdi – Executive Director, XR (Global) – Cinesite
Adipat Virdi joined Cinesite’s leadership team in 2024 as Executive Director, XR (Global). An expert in XR experience design and leveraging emerging technology to deliver narrative frameworks for both social and commercial impact, Adipat is spearheading the development of Cinesite’s award-winning Immersive and XR division.
Having originally studied Architecture and having practiced Socio-Spatial Analysis, Adipat switched to focus on more creative and entertainment-based studies, ultimately leading him towards immersive storytelling and experience design. He has achieved MAs in Design Strategy and Innovation, Advanced Architectural Studies and Screenwriting. On the merging of space and story, he explains, “I’ve always worked on the liminal edge of storytelling and experience design and find myself exploring this at the nexus between tech, strategy and innovation.”
Over the past 20 years, Adipat has delivered bespoke experience blueprints for various clients in the retail, automotive, healthcare, fashion and entertainment sectors, including Charlotte Tilbury, Virgin Atlantic and Nike, amongst many others.
He has built effective, immersive storyworlds, both for IP and for his own content, where he aims for real-world social impact. His productions across film, TV and theatre challenge audiences to confront their own views about issues including forced marriages and honour crimes. Adipat’s work has played at Edinburgh Film Festival and was a finalist at the Sundance New Frontier Story Lab.

Lincoln Wallen – CTO – Framestore Company 3 Group
Lincoln has led and future-proofed diverse companies across entertainment, games, and technology, including the software unicorn Improbable, Dreamworks Animation and Electronic Arts (EA). With a PhD in artificial intelligence from the University of Edinburgh and teaching experience at Oxford University, his expertise bridges academia and industry.
As CTO of Framestore Company 3 Group, he forges strategic partnerships and strengthens client relationships, helping studios, institutions, and brands maximise their IP. He collaborates with leadership to align with the Group’s strategy and assesses the impact of emerging technologies, driving innovation and exploring new markets.
