Mariana is a technologist, connector, and entrepreneur. During her years at The Foundry, she focused on virtual reality post-production workflows, as well as being the Head of Product Specialists in the Americas. Mariana was a pioneer in her hometown Mexico City, where she founded the first VR and 360 video production and branding agency – JoltVR.
Most recently she co-founded Glassbox Technologies, where she leads the roadmap for new and existing technology developing tools for Virtual Production, transforming the way filmmaking is done today. She was one of the ten finalists of the Women Startup Challenge VR and AI. In January 2018 she completed the certification in “Artifical Intelligence – Applied to Business Strategy” from MIT.
Prior to her switch into tech, she worked as an on-set VFX supervisor & senior digital artist and has over 13 years’ experience in the motion picture industry working at such studios as Sony Imageworks, CIS Hollywood, Digital Domain, HBO, Columbia Pictures and Fuse FX. She was featured in the book Voices of Labor: Creativity, Craft, and Conflict in a Global Hollywood, as well as in the acclaimed documentary “Hollywood’s Greatest Tricks”.

Norman Wang

Norman Wang is a successful VR entrepreneur. He co-founded Opaque Media Group in 2012 and was instrumental in growing the organization to become one of the most recognized VR studios in the world with clients such as NASA, Google, Microsoft and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
Before founding Opaque Media Group, Norman was a lecturer at Swinburne University and a Ph.D. researcher in the field of cognitive psychology, and is a published author in the field of computer vision. Norman is now CEO of Glassbox Technologies, the newly formed spin-off startup that took part in the prestigious Vive X accelerator.

Johannes is a project manager with a passion for agile teamwork. He is currently Executive Producer at Glassbox where he coordinates a global team of software developers to bring real-time workflows to Hollywood and beyond. When he’s not organizing development work, he enjoys developing his own games and designing in CAD. Away from a screen Johannes can be found doing improv theatre and culinary experiments.

Evan is a software engineer with a passion for game engines and visual effects. He currently works on Glassbox’s virtual production tools. He previously worked at Netflix on their game console and smart TV apps. In his spare time Evan enjoys making short films and programming his own real-time strategy game. Away from the computer he can be found hiking mountains or canoe camping.
